"One must have a why in this world to create any meaning."
My unschooled answer to my grandkids when they asked the perpetual “...but, why?”
I had to conclude... God is the why. We are created to give God Glory. Glory is “Kavod” or weight or causality or branding.... the “weight” of existence crushes us.... we cannot bear it. Only by turning it over to HIM, the bearer of all weight, can we have purposeful being.
What we give to God is the unknowable because we are only human. The why of the universe is known only to the creator. Consciousness is the recognition of a creator. That is the big whyl. The human cry for survival in the face of the "weight of existence" is our little why. Six million were left on the cross asking "why has thou forsaken me". The survivors miraculously found their own why... Thanks for reading..
